Lose 20 Pounds in 4 Weeks- Easily

Believe it or not, making just a few simple changes to your lifestyle can do wonders in helping you to lose 20 pounds in 4 weeks. Here are some everyday things you can do to reach your goal of getting a flat sculpted stomach:

- Always take the stairs instead of the elevator.

If you have a job where you sit at a desk all day long, definitely make it a point to stand up regularly during the day, as much as possible. Standing burns more calories than sitting and also improves your posture. It will be near impossible to lose 20 pounds in 4 weeks if you’re sitting down all day.

- Be smart with your breaks at work.

Always use whatever downtime you can get to take short, quick walks. This alone can do wonders — not just to your body, but to your mind as well. When you go to places that have huge parking lots, park farther out on purpose. Instead of driving around and waiting for that first available parking space right by the entrance, park and walk from a distance. To lose 20 pounds in 4 weeks you must try to add as much physical activity to your daily schedule as possible.

-Walk briskly for 30 minutes a day.

In addition to the above tips you should also try to get some brisk walking in most days of the week. Just start from home walking in a certain direction for 15 minutes and than turn around and walk back. That’s your 30 minutes of walking for the day, it is so easy to do and is a great fat burning exercise.

- Say “no” to junk food.

This is probably the biggest hurdle to losing 20 pounds in 4 weeks. Instead of eating junk food, make healthy choices such as nuts, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.

- Reduce your portion sizes.

By increasing your activity levels while lowering your calorie intake you really can reach a goal of 20 pounds in 4 weeks successfully. Changing your entire diet is a radical approach that is often very hard to maintain, but simply reducing the portion size of the meals you already eat can be an easy and effective means of weight loss. A simple way to incorporate this principle is to eat your meals off smaller plates. In the 1950’s and 60’s people use to eat off smaller plates and so ended up eating a lot less than we do nowadays.  Exchange the plates you use now for smaller ones and when you eat, fill the plate up once and don’t go back for seconds.
